"University of Sussex Canoe Club is a Student Union club and is also affiliated to the British Canoe Union. We welcome students of all abilities. We also welcome non-students who can help out with driving the minibus, teaching or leading kayaking trips. "

"Brighton Explorers Club is a multi-activity outdoors club based in Brighton, England. Our main activities are climbing, cycling (both on- and off-road), walking, caving, windsurfing and canoeing. More occasionally we also go sailing, coasteering and surfing. We welcome all levels, including beginners, but generally we do not offer instruction."

Horsham - Forest Canoe Club

"Forest Canoe Club was founded in the late summer of 1986 as a result of an Adult Education Course in kayaking run by the Forest School in Horsham, hence the name of the club. In the early years the club had close links with the Adur Canoe Club and Chichester Youth Wing using some of their instructors as all club members were beginners."

Lancing - Arun Canoe Club

"Arun Canoe Club has been paddling in West Sussex and beyond for over 25 years. We cover an array of locations which cater for all different skill sets. Whether you're new to kayaking and prefer a gentle paddle or an experienced kayaker, our trips are designed to meet all needs. We normally run at least one river trip a week and often run two or more. In the summer we paddle on Wednesday evenings in a variety of locations which is always nice for a mid week wind down!"
